There has been a lot of development, iterations, false starts — but our first batch of gloves that we think can be tested is ready! On behalf of Team EOZ, I would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding.
Here are some of the things that we have planned, and if you fit the description below, we welcome you to sign up for the Prototype Access Program (PAP). We will pick a fixed number of testers to receive the EOZ Glove prototypes.
VR Hardware Required
- Valve or HTC Base-Stations v2 preferred
- Tundra Tracker × 1
- Tundra Tracker Dongle SW3/5/7 or newest Dongles
- One SteamVR capable controller
- SteamVR capable PC
What You'll Receive
- 1 × EOZ-Immersive Glove prototype could be left or right hand
- 1 × Pogo-Pin board
- Firmware and Drivers
On full release, we intend to offer a discount to purchase the other hand as an appreciation for all testers.
What you'll be expected to do
- Cutting and then sewing of gloves
- Dismantling of Tundra Tracker base
- Mounting of Pogo-pin board onto Tundra Tracker's base
- Dis-assembly and then assembly of electronics to/from gloves
- Resetting firmware & updating firmware
- Installation of software and copying of folders to your PC & SteamVR
Expectations

You will be expected to pay for shipping fees / import taxes (if any)

There will still be software/firmware bugs, as this is not a full release

We will require you to fill up a post-testing survey form

The initial testing is using Diver-X's gloves. EOZ gloves will be released later — all BETA testers will get a discount to buy it
